You'll be the architect of our knowledge foundation—building, optimizing, and scaling the database systems that transform billions of data points into meaningful connections that change lives and careers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain database systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
Pre-process and post-process large quantities of data efficiently
Perform database cleaning, normalization, and optimization
Establish and enforce database best practices, standards, and procedures
Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions
Work with and design vectorized databases
Cross team collaboration with the AI engineer and others to ingest data into an efficient, scalable database structure.
Required Experience
3-5 years of experience working with real-world database systems, particularly PostgreSQL
Strong knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and optimization techniques
Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries
Experience handling large data volumes and implementing efficient data processing pipelines
Demonstrated ability to optimize database performance (indexing, query optimization, etc.)
Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and validation processes
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
MS/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
What Will Set You Apart
Familiarity with AI algorithms
Hands-on experience developing databases to support AI applications
Hands-on experience with vectorized databases such as Weaviate
Experience with AWS RDS, Kubernetes and other cloud-based database services
Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and performance analysis
